AutoVision 1000 USI system is a part of a family of automated visual inspection systems first introduced to the CD-R/ DVD-R industry in 1996.

This system is specifically designed for detection of dirt, dust or manufacturing defects in uniform surfaces on film, metal, plastic, etc.

Sensitivity to individual defect contrast and size as well as total defect area is adjustable. System has auto-calibration feature to assure maximum sensitivity to surface variations.

It is an on-line, modular turnkey vision system capable of inspecting multiple parts. System tolerates linear and rotational shift of the part.

USI system incorporates many process control tools that allow user to correct the process based on system provided information and significantly enhance production efficiency.
