AutoVision 1000 OCR system is a part of a family of automated visual inspection systems first introduced to the pharmaceutical industry in 1995. This system is especially powerful for pad, screen and platen printing applications on film, foil and paper where print quality may have normal variation within acceptable boundaries with a gradual or random degradation of quality.

It is an on-line, modular turnkey vision system capable of inspecting multiple parts with two separate alphanumeric regions for incorrect or severely degraded ( unreadable ) characters while tuning out dust and scratches. System tolerates linear and rotational shift of the part within settable boundaries. While competitive products require preset fonts, AV 100 OCR allows user to create and store for future use practically unlimited number of fonts.
